A Child Given a Chance
Timothy, 10, comes from a vulnerable family and often missed school because of lack of books and uniform. During our Child Support Program, he was identified and helped with school materials, counseling, and home visits.
Timothy’s attendance improved, and today he is among the top students in his class. His parents also attended a parenting workshop, learning how to support their children emotionally and academically.

Building Strong Families
In 2024, Hearts of Faith Uganda formed a Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) called “Arise and Shine” to support mothers who were struggling financially. Women began saving small amounts, which has helped them start businesses and access loans at low interest rates in case of any challenge.
From Peer Pressure to Purpose
Joy, a 16-year-old girl, was struggling with heavy peer pressure, skipping classes, and going out with friends who influenced her into risky behavior. During one of our school outreach sessions on peer pressure, drug abuse, and HIV awareness, Joy connected deeply with our counselors.
Through continuous mentorship and guidance, she gained confidence, changed her social circle, and joined our youth life-skills program. Today, Joy is a peer educator who speaks to other girls about self-worth, healthy decisions, and confidence.
